Move back and across, pivot on back foot, and pull the ball in front of square leg

Get down on one knee, swing the bat horizontally to hit the ball to the leg side
A back-foot shot played to wide deliveries outside off stump
Move back and across, cut down on the ball with a horizontal bat swing

Bowling Variations:
Technique: Keep seam upright, land on seam to get unpredictable bounce and deviation
Makes the ball curve through the air
Technique: Conventional swing: rough side towards leg slip. Reverse swing: opposite at high speeds
2. Spin Bowling
Uses rotation to deceive batsmen with turn, bounce, and pace variation
Spins from off to leg for right-handed batsmen
Technique: Grip with index and middle finger across seam, flick fingers clockwise at release
Spins from leg to off for right-handed batsmen
Technique: Grip with ring finger and thumb, snap wrist counter-clockwise with strong shoulder turn
